🔹The First Congress of Mathematicians of Kazakhstan

Our team participated in the First Congress of Mathematicians of Kazakhstan, organized by the Kazakhstan Mathematical Society. The congress brought together six international scientific conferences on mathematics, mechanics, information technology, and artificial intelligence. We presented two papers on the digital twin project for a food enterprise (IRN BR24992975) in the “Scientific Artificial Intelligence” section.

Paper 1. «Mathematical model of inventory management»
Authors: S. T. Tletai, G. A. Amirkhanova (Al-Farabi Kazakh National University)
Summary: A mathematical model for inventory management in bakery production. This work covers demand forecasting taking into account trend and seasonal factors, finished product inventory balances, calculating ingredient requirements based on recipe coefficients, creating safety stock, and minimizing total costs (storage, production, purchasing, shortages, and write-off of expired products).
Paper 2. «Mathematical modeling of the bakery baking process»
Authors: T. Z. Mazakov (Al-Farabi Kazakh National University), T. T. Duzbayev (International University of Engineering and Technology)
Summary: A multistage model of the baking process based on ordinary differential equations and applying control theory methods. The process cycle (dough mixing and fermentation, molding, baking, and finished product yield) is described as a controlled dynamic system, where temperature serves as the control variable. The problem is reduced to a Volterra integral equation of the second kind, for which the existence and uniqueness of a solution are proven.
