🔹 IITS 2026 — International Conference on Information Communication, IoT Technology, and Smart Cities

📍 Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia · 📅 10–12 April 2026

The 2026 International Conference on Information Communication, IoT Technology, and Smart Cities (IITS 2026) took place in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, on 10–12 April 2026, held in conjunction with the 2nd International Conference on Smart City and Sustainable Development (SCSD 2026). It was hosted by the Faculty of Computing, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), and sponsored by Advanced Devices & Instrumentation (a Science Partner Journal). The conference was held at the ibis Kuala Lumpur City Centre; the main programme day, 11 April, was opened by Prof. Dr. Ali Selamat, Deputy Vice-Chancellor of UTM.

🎤 Team paper

On 11 April Gulshat Amirkhanova gave an oral presentation (Oral Speech 3, 11:20–11:30); Saltanat Adilzhanova also took part in the conference.

Summary: the paper proposes a digital-twin-driven framework for vulnerability management in cloud environments: a continuously synchronised “living” replica of the cloud architecture that ingests vulnerability findings, models attacker paths and supports remediation decisions without touching production. Besides CVE identifiers and CVSS scores, the twin uses exploitation-relevance signals — presence in the CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities catalogue and the EPSS probability of exploitation. The prototype runs on a containerised Docker stack with the open-source Trivy scanner; experiments show shorter time-to-triage and more accurate risk prioritisation than periodic scanning and patching.
