About the program

The winter school combined two complementary tracks: a theoretical course on Siemens industrial digital twins and a practical track on low-code development on the Mendix platform (“Low-Code. Programming for Everyone”). The participants, students from Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, were introduced to the Siemens digital manufacturing ecosystem (Xcelerator, NX, Tecnomatix, Simcenter, Opcenter) and simultaneously learned how to create their own applications on Mendix, from simple templates to preparation for official certification.

The program was structured as two parallel tracks: each day included lectures on Siemens digital twins and practical modules on low-code.
