🔹 Summer School 2026 – Digital Twin in Manufacturing

📅 May 5–22, 2026 · 📍 Online · ⏱ 72 academic hours · 🎓 Department of AI and Big Data, Al-Farabi Kazakh National University

About the program

The International Summer School of the Department of Artificial Intelligence and Big Data at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University focused on the full cycle of working with a digital twin of an industrial enterprise using the specialized OpenEgiz platform. Over 11 days, participants went from deploying the platform to building interactive dashboards integrating real equipment data, telemetry, and 3D visualization.

What the participants learned:

  • deploy the OpenEgiz platform and open the working environment;
  • create and configure digital equipment entities;
  • upload and integrate 3D scenes to visualize production facilities;
  • correctly send streaming telemetry data to the platform;
  • link incoming data to 3D models and entities;
  • Build interactive dashboards to monitor processes and equipment status.

Learning outcome:

Participants can independently deploy a digital twin platform (on a server or locally) and assemble a complete virtual representation of an object—from system launch to displaying live data on dashboards.
