🎯 The purpose of the event

Demonstrate the results of the digital twin project for a food industry enterprise, establish professional interactions with industry representatives, obtain feedback from potential users, and identify prospects for implementing the developed solutions at enterprises in the Republic of Kazakhstan.


📢 Main topics of the speeches:

Technological solutions, equipment, packaging, and ingredients for the hospitality (HoReCa), restaurant, food, and bakery industries. Business meetings focused on digitalization of production, automation, the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT), and the transition to open-source solutions for small and medium-sized businesses.


🧩 What we presented:

  • OpenEgiz — an open enterprise digital twin platform that integrates IIoT for equipment monitoring, 3D visualization of production facilities, dashboards, and machine learning algorithms.

  • Digital Egiz System (DES) — an intelligent subsystem for monitoring production facilities in real time, providing process visualization and identifying deviations.

  • Chamilo LMS and Telegram-bot — a corporate personnel training system with a built-in AI-based course generator based on internal company documents.

  • OpenTeams — an open platform for teamwork, including Kanban boards, messenger, video conferencing, and cloud storage.


🏆 Results:

  • Dozens of business meetings were held with representatives of the food, bakery and dairy industries, as well as equipment suppliers.

  • New business contacts have been established and systematized for further cooperation and pilot implementations.

  • Specific recommendations have been compiled for adapting systems to the specific production processes of visiting enterprises.

  • Feedback was received from the target audience regarding the barriers to implementing digital twins.

  • The research component of the project was presented at the accompanying ICASIS 2026 conference.

  • The delegation was awarded an official participant diploma by the organizers for their active work and for attracting a significant flow of visitors to the stand.
